Dr. Bortolussi completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota Duluth before earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. During dental school, he received several awards in Prosthodontics, recognizing his excellence and passion for restorative dentistry.
After graduating in 1996, Dr. Bortolussi pursued advanced specialty training through a three-year postdoctoral program in Advanced Prosthodontics. He later achieved Fellowship standing with the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario in 2003 and earned his Specialty designation in Prosthodontics from the Royal College of Dentists of Canada in 2004.
Committed to continuing education and excellence in patient care, Dr. Bortolussi recently completed the Advanced Surgical Master Curriculum in Regenerative Implant Dentistry at the University of Szeged Faculty of Dentistry in 2026.
Dr. Bortolussi is highly involved in the dental community in London and is recognized locally, nationally, and internationally for his clinical work and mentorship. He is a Kois mentor and educator and frequently lectures on advanced restorative and implant dentistry. Known for his dedication to precision, innovation, and lifelong learning, he continually strives to advance his practice and provide exceptional care for his patients.
He is an active member of numerous professional organizations, including the Ontario Dental Association, Canadian Dental Association, Association of Prosthodontists of Ontario, Association of Prosthodontists of Canada, and the American College of Prosthodontists. He also maintains licensure to practice dentistry in the state of Minnesota.
In recognition of his contributions to the profession and community, Dr. Bortolussi was honoured with the Award of Merit from the London & District Dental Society in 2018.
