Dr. Jason Bortolussi – DDS, MSc, FRCD(C)

Dr. Bortolussi completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota-Duluth. He then continued his studies at the University of Minnesota Dental School. While in dental school he won several awards in the field of prosthodontics in which he excelled. After he graduated in 1996 he pursued his enthusiasm for advanced dentistry by entering a 3-year post-doctoral degree in Advanced Prosthodontics. He holds a degree from The Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario which he achieved in 2003 as well as the Royal College of Dentists of Canada, Specialty in Prosthodontics, which he received in 2004.

He is active in the London dental community and is a Kois Member and mentor. He is a member of PEERS (Platform for Exchange of Education, Research and Science and has been involved with many study clubs, the latest being SPEARS Study Club in London. He is a speaker on the topic of dentistry and is recognized locally, nationally and internationally for his work. He has also achieved his Advanced Surgical Master Curriculum in Regenerative Implant Dentistry from the University of Szeged, Facility of Dentistry in Hungary 2017.

Dr. Bortolussi belongs to several professional organizations; including Ontario Dental Association, London & District Dental Society, Canadian Dental Association, Association of Prosthodontists of Ontario, Association of Prosthodontists of Canada, American College of Prosthodontics, Elgin District Dental Society and he is currently licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Minnesota.

Dr. Bortolussi received the Award of Merit in 2018 from the London & District Dental Society. He is always ready to learn and advance his practice any way he can. On a personal note, Dr. Bortolussi resides in London and enjoys unwinding in nature, being physically active, and spending time with his 2 children & newest addition, sister kitten duo, Hazel.

Sarah Pickering

Office Manager/Treatment Coordination

Sarah is our Office Manager & Patient Treatment Coordinator, she started as Dr. Bortolussi’s chairside assistant and has transitioned throughout the practice to her current role. Born and raised in London Ontario, Sarah was previously a patient of Dr. Bortolussi’s, then after graduating high school she attended Fanshawe College to receive her certification as a Level 2 Dental Assistant in 2016. Sarah has known Dr. Bortolussi for 7 years & loves the role she has carved for herself within the practice working alongside him. Outside of the office, Sarah likes to spend time outdoors hiking or camping, maintaining physical activity of all sorts, focuses on her healthy lifestyle & spends time with the other half of the kitten duo, brother kitten, Beck.

Chrissy Thorne

Level II Dental Assistant

Chrissy is Dr. Bortolussi’s chairside assistant, she has been mentored by Dr. Bortolussi for 11 years since she graduated from Fanshawe College in 2010 receiving her certification as a Level 2 Dental Assistant. She has also transitioned herself through each roll in the office & enjoys the socialization with patients throughout their care at our office when completing treatment. Chrissy enjoys hiking, camping & staying active with her dog, Duck.

Emanuele Parisella

Lab Technician

Emanuele was born in Rome Italy in 1983. He graduated as a Dental Technician in Rome and he mastered his ceramic technique by attending different hands-on courses in Europe and North America. He worked for different dental laboratories in Italy, before he immigrated to Toronto, Canada in 2009 where he currently lives with his wife & 2 children. He opened his own Dental Laboratory when joining our team as an in-house dental technician. Emanuele is a true artist and never ceases to amaze our staff and patients. Emanuele loves spending time with his family with day trips to the beach & parks, he also enjoys going to the gym & watching soccer, cheering for Italy!

Ultra Low Dose imaging is a unique way to capture 3D images at patient doses comparable to other panoramic images. It can be used with all imaging modes and voxel sizes, allowing for individualized specialty protocols to meet our advanced treatment planning needs.

Our X-ray unit offers the widest variety of imaging programs available. You can also select the correct exposure formats to minimize the radiation dose for all types of patients and diagnostic purposes.

Guided Surgery

Guided Surgery refers to planning a surgical workflow prior to a surgical date by using digital dentistry technology. It can also help to create efficiency & reducing chair-time with immediate treatment protocols.
